Lily’s Path to Peace: The Origin Story


Lily’s Path to Peace was born from a simple and heartfelt beginning. In 2022 I began
training to become a yoga instructor I needed to practice my newly learned skills with
real participants. I offered a one-time virtual Chair Yoga session to my team—just a
practice round to help me gain teaching experience.


But something unexpected and beautiful happened: they loved it.


What started as a single session quickly turned into something more. My colleagues
found the experience so beneficial—both mentally and physically—that they began
asking for it on a regular basis. Recognizing a real need for boosting morale, improving
focus, and encouraging well-being in the workplace, we began offering 15-minute Chair
Yoga sessions twice a week.


These brief but impactful moments—just 30 minutes a week—have become a cherished
ritual. They help employees reconnect with themselves, enhance creativity, and tap into
problem-solving skills, all while offering a proven way to increase energy, lift mood, and
reduce stress.

When I look at this photo, I am taken to a moment in time where nothing in the world existed other than peace, acceptance, love, gratitude, compassion and strength….all of this felt by me, for me, created by me. What a beautiful feeling. This 20-30 minute daily practice has so changed my life that I can’t help but want to share. I want you all to feel what I feel in those moments….and learn how to quickly take yourself back to that moment in times of need.
